How Do We Book?

All we need to book your date for your wedding or event is a deposit of £250. The balance of your package can be made payable any time, up to 4 weeks before the event.

Deposit

The non-refundable deposit amount of £250 is required to secure the date of your booking and to hold the date for you as other couples may want the same date as you. Once the deposit is received, the date is yours!
The remaining balance of your chosen package will be due no later than 1 month before your wedding date. All payments can be received via BACS transfer or cheque.

Your Albums

Please note that your wedding albums must be in the proofing process by your first wedding anniversary, unless previously agreed otherwise before this date, otherwise a charge of £100 will be applied. Any parent albums or gift albums can be purchased and set up at any time – please contact me for more information.

Photographic Images

After your wedding / photoshoot a web page link will be supplied to you to view your photos with the option to purchase albums, USBs and individual photos.
These will remain on our site for you to view and order from. The images will be low resolution but able to be viewed and high resolution images will be supplied on a USB.

All images will be digitally edited after weddings and will be available around 14 days after the wedding, unless agreed otherwise.

Full copyright of the images remains with Photography by Joanne Ltd and we retain the right to display any images in any promotional material, including websites, blog and social media unless requested otherwise by the client.
Images may be edited at the photographer’s discretion, and delivered images may not include all images shot. The photographer reserves the creative right to edit and release only those deemed professional in quality and within the photographer’s artistic standards.

Photography by Joanne hold copies of all weddings on a secondary backup for as long as digitally possible. We don’t delete your photographs so if you lose them, we will have a copy available.

Can We Meet Joanne?

Of course!! I think it is the most important thing to meet up and discuss all the plans and how everything will run on your day. We can meet up at the venue which is usually the best place so we can go over all the little details.

Monthly Payments

We all know how expensive a wedding can be when it all starts adding up so we offer an option to pay your chosen package in a monthly payment in order to ease the planning of your finances. Please get in touch with Joanne to discuss more.

Cancellations

Should the Client choose to cancel their booking at any time prior to the wedding date, their deposit is non-refundable, and the following will be due, depending on time of cancellation :
Cancellation 12 months or more before wedding
Deposit not refunded. No other payment due.

Between 9 – 12 months before wedding
Deposit not refunded & 25% of the remaining balance of your chosen package is due.

Between 6 – 9 months before wedding
Deposit not refunded & 50% of the remaining balance of your chosen package is due.
Less than 6 months before wedding
Deposit not refunded & 100% of the remaining balance of your chosen package is due.

Cancellation by Photography by Joanne Ltd at any time (for whatever reason) would result in the full return of any monies paid. In the unfortunate and highly unlikely event that Photography by Joanne Ltd were unable to attend the wedding due to illness / bereavement for example, all efforts will be made to arrange for another professional wedding photographer to cover the wedding. However, if this cannot be achieved, shall not be held financially liable for any negligence or loss of service after the monies have been refunded in full.
